追求不息，成長(zhǎng)不止

中國(guó)的馬術(shù)運(yùn)動(dòng)在過去十年里一直穩(wěn)步提高，能夠作為這成長(zhǎng)中的一部分是一種非常棒的體驗(yàn)。在馬術(shù)場(chǎng)地障礙運(yùn)動(dòng)圈里，我們每年似乎都能探得更多的學(xué)問，取得更高的發(fā)展。話雖這么說，我們?cè)谶_(dá)到國(guó)際水平之前仍有很長(zhǎng)的路要走。在與馬的日常交流中我們尚缺乏一些基本知識(shí)，例如訓(xùn)練、喂馬、預(yù)防保健、以及對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)馬的一般管理都有待提高。對(duì)這個(gè)當(dāng)下尚不夠成熟的市場(chǎng)來(lái)說，我認(rèn)為最為重要的事務(wù)之一，就是使用用于持續(xù)該項(xiàng)進(jìn)步所需的工具。我們應(yīng)該都有過那種急需某些東西卻怎么也沒辦法得到的挫敗感。或者是一些對(duì)你的馬來(lái)說必不可少的東西，而你甚至不知道到底在哪里才能買得到。

這就是當(dāng) Beval 馬具進(jìn)入中國(guó)馬術(shù)市場(chǎng)，而我又能夠與其合作的時(shí)候，我何以會(huì)如此興奮的原因。他們從 1955 年開始就進(jìn)入了美國(guó)馬業(yè)市場(chǎng)，并且這些年來(lái)開發(fā)出了一套優(yōu)秀的體系，不論是在賽事秀場(chǎng)上，還是在自家里，都能為騎手、馴馬師和馬夫提供所有能滿足馬所需求的產(chǎn)品。他們有研究馬鞍、馬鞍配件、馬橛子和演出設(shè)備領(lǐng)域的專家，有為每位騎手做好參賽準(zhǔn)備所需的所有產(chǎn)品，他們完全可稱得上是中國(guó)市場(chǎng)所需要的新鮮空氣（和知識(shí)），讓我們能夠不斷進(jìn)步，以趕上其他國(guó)際上的馬圈人士。他們?cè)?2015 年的浪琴表北京國(guó)際馬術(shù)大師賽上的首次亮相非常成功，不管你需要什么，他們都及時(shí)提供了非常有用的產(chǎn)品或是解決辦法。我很自豪的宣布，我就是他們?cè)谥袊?guó)開張第一天的第一位顧客！我在那兒挑到了海綿、刷子、洗發(fā)水、冰粘土、繃帶以及其他很多商品，因?yàn)樗鼈冊(cè)诘陜?nèi)都有出售，更不用說，這里就是全中國(guó)售賣馬術(shù)用品最齊全的地方。

那兒有很多工具和產(chǎn)品都是中國(guó)市場(chǎng)尚未了解的。那些對(duì)馬和騎手的事業(yè)都有益的東西，會(huì)對(duì)他們?cè)谫悎?chǎng)上的表現(xiàn)和結(jié)果起到很大的作用。Beval 馬具今年在北京新開了兩家店，中國(guó)馬圈里的人們，終于可以在一個(gè)地方就能找到他們所需的知識(shí)及各種必需用品了。就如他們所說，求知的道路永無(wú)止境。哪一天你止住了探索追逐的腳步，你也就會(huì)停止了進(jìn)步。

Chinese equestrian sport has been steadily progressing over the last decade and it's been a great experience to be a part of that growth. Every year there seems to be more knowledge and development within the show jumping community. With that being said, we still have a long way to go to catch up to the international level. Some basic level knowledge is still missing in the daily interactions with the horses. Training, grooming, preventative care, and general management of the show horses could still be improved upon. One of the most important things I feel is missing at the moment in the young market is the tools that are needed to continue the growth. We've all experienced the frustration that comes along with needing something and not having access to it. Or maybe there are certain things your horse needs that you're not even aware were available.

That's why I'm more than excited to be in collaboration with Beval Saddlery on their move into the Chinese equestrian market. They have been around the US horse market since 1955 and have long developed an excellent system to provide riders, trainers, and grooms with all the supplies to help meet the horses needs, whether it's at the show or at home. With experts in the field of saddles and saddle fittings, bits, show equipment, and all other aspects of preparing every rider to be competition ready, they are exactly the breath of fresh air (and knowledge) that the Chinese market needs to keep us growing and catching up to the rest of the international community. They have already made a successful debut at the 2015 Longines Beijing Masters, proving how useful it is to have access to what you need when you need it. I am proud to say I was their first customer on their first day! Picking up sponges, brushes, shampoo, ice clay, bandages, and much more all because it was there in one place, not to mention the only place that carried the stuff we needed in the entire country. 

There are so many tools and products that the Chinese market has not yet to learn about. Things that can benefit the careers of both horse and rider, make an immense difference in performance and results. With two stores opening in Beijing this year, the Chinese equestrian community will finally have the convenience of finding knowledge and necessities in one place. As they say, the pursuit of knowledge should be never ending. The day you stop pursuing is the day you stop growing.
